Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 26, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of onepdftoolkit.com (the "Site") and its PDF and image tools (the "Tools"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What the Site provides

OnePDF provides free, browser-based tools to merge, split, compress, and rotate PDF files, extract images from PDFs, convert images into PDF files, and convert text-based PDFs into Word documents. All processing happens locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript libraries; the Site does not receive or store the contents of files you process.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Tools only for lawful purposes. You won't use the Site to process, and won't otherwise use the Site in connection with, content that:

  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, where you don't have the right to process that content;
  • is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or violates the privacy or rights of others;
  • attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or overload the Site's infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for the files you choose to process with the Tools and for ensuring you have the right to do so.

3. No account, no warranty of availability

The Site does not require an account. We aim to keep the Tools available and working correctly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — the Site may be unavailable at times for maintenance, technical issues, or reasons outside our control.

4. "As is" service and disclaimer of warranties

The Tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Tools will be error-free, that output files will be suitable for every purpose, or that processing will always preserve every element of your original file (for example, our Maximum compression mode intentionally converts pages to images, and some highly unusual PDF structures may not be fully supported).

Always keep a backup of your original files before processing them, and review output files before relying on or distributing them.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnePDF and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or Tools — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it (which, for a free service, is zero).

6. Advertising and third-party content

The Site may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks, such as Google AdSense, to keep the Tools free. We aren't responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the practices of third-party advertisers; your interactions with ads are governed by those advertisers' own terms and policies.

7. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, and original code are owned by OnePDF or its licensors. The Tools rely on open-source libraries (including pdf-lib, PDF.js, and JSZip), each governed by its own open-source license. You retain all rights to the content of files you process using the Tools — we claim no ownership over your documents or their contents.

8. Changes to the Site or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, and may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which OnePDF operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent via our Contact page or to yourcodebuddy1@gmail.com.
